Some country ideas....

I came across a pattern last night that stopped me in my tracks. I have a file on my computer that I collect patterns. It's probably got 200 patterns in it. I want to do everyone of them. But the pattern I saw last night on Twitter is a must. So cute and unusual. It sparked me to do this blog today with a country cottage, shabby chic, homey theme. Red, white & blue....

After all of the chaos of this past week I wanted to pay tribute to all of the people who came to the rescue. Whether it be a police officer, an EMT, a doctor, nurse, anyone who helped anyone this week even if it was with just a kind word this blog is dedicated to the American spirit. When times get tough we stick together and help our fellow man. Be loud and proud. We're glad it is over...

Ocean breeze...

It's official...the Florida heat is upon us. Within the last week we have had 80+ degree temps and the humidity has arrived with it. So the first thing I thought of was being near the ocean. We are making a trip to Disney's Vero Beach Resort for my birthday in early June. I wanted to see what crochet projects are being done with the ocean or sea in mind. Let's jump in the water!!!....
